No problem: The inactive pills are just that, inactive. So, I recommend women take them so they don't forget to start the active pill on time for their next pack. If you are taking them on time, and don't miss, you will have a 1 to 2 percent pregnancy rate with pill. If you add condoms, you can improve that number. ...Read more

I'm on trivora and at the thrird week of second package I've taken it well why do I have painfull cramps two weeks before period? It comes and goesallday
Possible cyst: Trivora is a low dose pill and while effective for birth control might not be strong enough to totally suprress your ovaries and that allows possible cysts (usually small) that could explain symptoms. Might want to try a stronger pill or even one of the pills where you can even skip your periods and see if that helps. If not my next rec would be to get a sonogram to check uterus and ovaries. ...Read more

Why am I having cramps 2 weeks before a period im in the second package of trivora? If its suposed to stop ovulation why the cramps? I've taken it well
Can you have sex anytime at 4th month of taking trivora? Is it safe a few days before placebo? And is it safe during placebo? And right afterplacebo?
Yes: Oral contraceptive pills are designed to suppress ovulation all month as long as you take them correctly. Each pill should be taken at about the same time each day. The seven days of placebo should not be enough of a break to cause ovulation (or egg release) therefore, pregnancy should not occur. If you do not start your new pill pack on time, however, ovulation could occur and thus pregnancy. ...Read more

Is it okay to switch from Yaz generic Vestura to Triphasil generic Trivora mid cycle for perimenopause? I read conflicting answers but feel nauseous.
Not a good idea: Generic yaz and generic triphasil have the same estrogen component, but different dose regimens of it and completely different progestin components in them. Based on the impact that birth control pills can have on the body's water balance and blood clotting system, it is not a good idea to switch from yaz to triphasil mid cycle. ...Read more
I'm on trivora. Taken it well. I had cramps 2 weeks before period and now I am 1 day late taken 2 pregnancy test.1 5 days early, 1 today both negati why?
Not if negative: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. After this much time clearly you are not pregnant. See your doctor for irregular periods. ...Read more

May be off this mont: Usually when you miss a pill it is best to take both the next day to catch up instead of skipping and going to next pill. These instructions are found in the medicine instructions. If you miss a day you are more likely to have an irregular cycle. Since you missed your pill, you may want to take pregnancy test to ensure you aren't pregnant. This is less likely but should still be ruled out. ...Read more

Yes: Oral contraceptives only work if you take them. You need to take them at about the same time every day (morning or evening) so that they trick your brain into thinking you already are pregnant, and do not ovulate.
