Trisodium Phosphate And Vinegar
Sometimes, my urine is cloudy/turbid and it dissolves when I add vinegar, so I know it's phosphates. I get this maybe once a day. Should I be worried?
It lowers the pH,: Making it more acidic &, therefore, more resistant to bacteria. I don't treat adults, so I can't speak to the efficacy in post-pubertal women. In pre-pubertal girls, the vulvar lining is only a few cell layers thick. Wiping back to front brings bacteria forward. Bubble baths or sitting in a tub with dissolved soap make the area more alkaline. Baths with 1cup of white vinegar to 6" water help.
Forever but better: When our bodies sustain an injury, the immediate response is inflammation (red, hot, tender swelling). This is the body increasing the blood flow and bringing healing factors to the area and also the veins expand to carry bad stuff away. As healing occurs, new tissues fill in that are different than normal and less elastic. This is a scar. Over time it will fade in color but always be there.See 1 more doctor answer
Not sure...: If you just had a miscarriage or abortion I would recommend against using anything to cleanse inside the vagina (douching). You may be at risk of infection or irritation if you do that. Honestly, I recommend against douching at all times. Reply with more specifics and maybe I can answer your question about post-abortion care.
DO NOT try to: Abort your unborn child yourself. Please seek input from your physician, your gynecologist or a family planning clinic - so you can be informed about safe options ; be given a sounding board for major life decisions.
