Trigger Foods After Nissen Fundoplication
Would you recomend nissen fundoplication to be preformed on a 4month old, the baby dose not hold down formula at all, and vomits some of the st 2 food?
I am 2 days post opt from a nissen fundoplication and am having some payne in the chest area where the wrap was after eating and feels like food there?
My 2nd old is 1 wk post op fo. Nissen fundoplication, is it normal for her to choke, vomit and dry heave when she attempts to eat her safe soft foods?
Talk to your surgeon: Early on after fundoplication, one often experiences retching/dry heaving as the stomach gets used to the inability or decreased ability to reflux stuff up into the esophagus.
