Varies: When a tendon has chronic or multiple of episodes of inflammation and/or injury, calcifications can develop. At 4x1 mm they are extremely small. They don't really heal. Yes: In most cases the aircast brace is appropriate tx for post tib tendonitis. Occasionally a brace that locks the heal itself might be necessary. With the brace, nsaid's, and some rest mild tendonitis should be better in about 3 weeks. There are many causes of knee pain. Tendinitis generally doesnt respond to medications. A physiotherapist might be helpful re your bracing.
