Tricep Exercises For Seniors
Many will: Pushup, dips, press downs, french press. .. really any exercise where you extend your arm out - as in "press" your hand out - will engage the triceps. Even planks will do so, much less so if you "lock" your arms out - as at that point much of the stress going into the elbow joint (aka bad) rather than the surrounding muscles.
Many: The basic staple of bicep exercises are the bicep curl. There are many variations of this exercise. For your triceps, like your biceps there are many different types of exercise from dips to extensions. For either muscle group, here is a great website to guide your through the myriad of different possible exercises. Http://www. Bodybuilding. Com/exercises/finder/lookup/filter/muscle/id/15/muscle/

Get examined: You need to be examined for joint instability. Please call for an appointment and x-ray.
Compound exercises: The best exercises tend to be compound exercises (biceps curls and triceps extensions). These target multiple muscle groups yielding the greatest muscle hypertrophy.See 1 more doctor answer
Tendinitis.: You may have tendinitis, right where the tricep inserts on the back of the elbow.
Triceps work.: Triceps exercises include cable triceps extensions, overhead dumbbell extensions (one heavier dumbbell with both hands or lighter dumbbell in each hand), dumbbell kickbacks (light weight), close-grip bench presses, overhead cable extensions, and dips to name a few. Shoot for 3-4 sets per exercise, 8-12 reps, once weekly. Each day you work triceps, choose two of these exercises.See 1 more doctor answer
You can: Many chest exercises incorporate the triceps as well, so it's convenient to work both on the same day. The benefit of alternating is to give your (larger) chest muscles more time to recover between sets.
Work: Or go to a gym and look for them.

Please answer! What kind of super sets for triceps and biceps exercises can I do with dumbbells and e-z curl bar?
Basically: Can take any two exercises and superset. You can do bicep supersets like standing dumbbell hammer curls with standing standard dumbbell curls or wide grip bicep curls (EZ curl) with reverse grip bicep curls (EZ curl). Or you could do opposing muscle supersets, with any bicep exercise and tricep exercise like standing french press (EZ curl) to wide grip bicep curl (EZ curl). Just mix and match.
Triceps.: Dumbbell exercises for the triceps include sitting overhead triceps extensions (either with one heavy dumbbell raised overhead with both hands or two lighter dumbbells - one in each hand), dumbbell kickbacks (light weight) and cross-body triceps raises (done lying down with elbow straight in the air - extend dumbbell from opposite chest straight up in line with elbow).See 1 more doctor answer

Fruits & veggies: 1st let's be clear that I have no idea where your pain is, much less how much it is. What's normal for one person is intolerable for another. Most important is that pain is appropriate to muscle groups exercised b/c some medications cause inappropriate muscle pain/weakness. If you sweat "too much", you might throw off chemical balance. Eat plenty of variety of fruits & veggies. Drink lots of H2O.
