Tricalcium Phosphate Side Effects
I have been on codeine phosphate 30mg for over a year. I am worried about sideeffects. What are the long term side effects of this drug?

Regular use of any opioid (such as codeine) will produce a physical dependence on the drug that would be demonstrated if you attempted to abruptly withdraw- i.e. Agitation, diarrhea, sleeplessness, sweating, runny nose. Another effect is the possible increase in pain in your body (opioid induced hyperalgesia). ...Read more

Can having low glutathione levels, e.G. From excessive physical training, amplify side effects from prescription drugs?
Doubtful: Serum glutathione is not a standard test in evidence-based medicine, and the only study i could find is a 1992 article by some physiologists confirming that it does its anti-oxidant job well when we exercise. Don't confront your practitioner (who is probably sincere), but do be careful -- i'm concerned that this is fringe medicine. ...Read more

That's the problem: Tobacco companies producing e-cigs have not had to do any research because courts ruled that it is just another kind of cigarette, and the fda has no jurisdiction. The additives, flavorings, preservatives and whatever else is in them also have not been studied. We simply cannot say now. ...Read more

They are a good source of antioxidant activity and a decent, healthy diet will have enough of the amount your body will need. If you do take it as a supplementk don't bother with more than 400 iu daily--probably only need a tenth of that. ...Read more
