Intertrigo: The peri-rectal area is a common area for a rash known as intertrigo. This starts off as an irritation and then secondarily becomes colonized by yeast usually. Is there any topical cream steroid you will recommend for keloid before the kenalog (triamcinolone) injection?
I believe I have blepharitis and internet say topical steroids may help. I have mupirocin and triamcinolone .1% for excema will either of these work?

Don't worry much.: Triamcinolone is Pregnancy Category C, which means there have been effects in rats when it;'s taken orally. Topically, there's been some effect but likely with more frequent application. There've been no human studies on it's effect on the fetus. Not yet: This is a strong topical steroid cream which is currently only available by prescription (except in other countries). If you need a steroid cream, start with over the counter cortizone (hydrocortisone) cream and hopefully that will do the job (and is much cheaper).
