I have eczema on my rectum, it went away after applying triamcinolone. It has returned and whenever I wipe my rectum I get a shooting pain in left arm?
Intertrigo: The peri-rectal area is a common area for a rash known as intertrigo. This starts off as an irritation and then secondarily becomes colonized by yeast usually. Avoid using wet wipes to wipe the area. It can be treated with a combination of topical steroid and topical anti-yeast creams and often takes a few weeks to resolve. Zeasorb powder is useful to prevent recurrence. See a dermatologist. ...Read more
Not yet: This is a strong topical steroid cream which is currently only available by prescription (except in other countries). If you need a steroid cream, start with over the counter cortizone (hydrocortisone) cream and hopefully that will do the job (and is much cheaper). Otherwise you will need to get an rx from your medical doctor. ...Read more

Can triamcinolone cream be used in place of desonide cream for rosacea? Can not get into the dr. For a week and my desonide cream is all. A friend also has rosacea and uses triamcinolone cream.
Doc perscribed triamcinolone cream 0.1% for up to one Month. Contact dermatitis all over body. Is it safe to use that much for that long?
Possibly safe but...:
If you need to cover the entire body with this cream, you may as well be put on oral prednisone. You should consult a dermatologist however to find out what is causing the problem since this may cause systemic effects, just like systemic cortisone, when used for long.
Avoid using it on the face whenever possible. ...Read more
I have the following medicines:triamcinolone 0.1 % cream, clobetasol 0.05 % ointment, and tacrolimus 0.1 % ointment. Which can I apply to my nipples?
If the problem is an itchy rash, then a low-potency cortisone such as Hydrocortisone may be helpful. Triamciolone may also be tried as long as you don't use it for more than a week. Clobetasol is likely too strong.
Tacrolimus can be used as maintenance - more to prevent recurrence than as a treatment. Consider seeing a dermatologist to find out what may be causing the problem. ...Read more

Can triamcinolone cream cause adrenal crisis if I stop using suddenly? I use it on & off for my eczema. Sometimes for long periods.
No: Topical steroids are not absorbed enough, even with long term use, to cause adrenal suppression. Thus, no risk of adrenal crisis with their discontinuation. Make sure you are doing everything possible medication free (moisturizers/emollients/sunscreen) though to try and decrease use of the topical steroids for your eczema. ...Read more

I wouldn't: Triamcinolone is a topical steroid that can have adverse effects on wound healing. I don't understand the second half of your question.
