Do not use these: Products with much sun exposure. Hydroquinone especially is supposed to bleach or whiten your skin, but will darken with significant sun exposure. Cover up when you are outdoors. Mometasone is a steroid and will cause infections to worsen if you have infected acne vulgaris or other eruptions. Tretinoin can also do the same as hydroquinone except more severe, along with burning and skin dryness ...Read more

Hydroquinone +tretinoin +mometasone furoate can be used daily? I am a Indian boy of age 17. Can it works on me? How to use IT? Are their side effect
Do not self-treat: This is a very dangerous combination. Sadly, hydroquinone is popular in India by misguided people trying to lighten their natural skin color. You can end up disfiguring yourself. Tretinoin is helpful for acne, but the glucocorticoid mometasone can in the long run make your face severely inflamed, and atrophy your skin. To look good, accept who you are and hit the gym. Don't self-treat your skin. ...Read more

I'm using tretinoin 0, 05, hydroquinone 4% and floucinolone cream 0.25 mg. My face become really red. What should I do? Thanks
Minimize regimen: The use of multiple medicated skin care products together increases the risk of skin redness and irritation. For this reason, hypoallergenic cleansers and moisturizers should always be used. Decreasing the frequency of application, reducing the doses of products, or minimizing the regimen are options for management. In some people, this problem occurs at the beginning of treatment only. ...Read more

When using Retin A (tretinoin) and Hydroquinone can you apply the Hydroquinone after applying the Retin A (tretinoin)? Will that work best for brown spots. Thank you
Yes, I usually have patients apply the retin-A first. Give it 15-20 minutes to absorb and then apply the Hydroquinone. I usually recommend hydroquinone as spot therapy rather than the whole face and recommend a non-hydroquinone product to lighten the whole face. ZO Skin/Medical has amazing products if you are interested.

Keep working: I'm glad this combination (with retin a, (tretinoin) I see) has given you a good result. Stop using the hydroquinine. You're more likely to make yourself look bad and the brown marks fade in a few months. Nobody cares about them. Keep managing your disease until it self-cures -- mine did at age 50. Enjoy being young, stay fit, focus on learning career skills, and again, nobody cares about your brown marks. ...Read more

I have used rdl baby face solution which contains hydroquinone 4% and tretinoin 20 mcg. Is it harmful for skin. Is that a cause for skin cancer.?
Bad choice: This won't give you skin cancer, but if you try to lighten your skin color, you can disfigure yourself. You're a young man at your physical, mental and sexual prime. Light or dark, it's your genetic gift, and if people see you trying to change it, you'll invite ridicule. Why not instead focus on taking the best care possible of your body, and develop its full potential for strength ; beauty? ...Read more

Hi I'm currently using clindamycin gel in the morning and retin a (tretinoin) at night. Is it safe for me to add hydroquinone to my routine? If so, should I apply it before or after clindamycin?
My dermatologist prescribed me 4%hydroquinone +tretinoin+mometasone furoate. For 3 weeks, is it safe to use this combination for such a long duration?
You should always: Believe that your doctor is doing what's best for you, if your doctor says you should combine those for three weeks then you should listen to your doctor. If you are that uncomfortable about it, then I suggest going to another doctor and getting a second opinion. It's hard to get a second opinion here because no one knows your medical/personal history. ...Read more
