My tongue has been scalloped it's not going away and it feels as if I cleaned my tongue to much, and the top of my tongue has a very thin white layer.

Normal: very normal for lots of patients. the tongue = very resilient area & the white coating is mostly caused by debris, bacteria & dead cells getting lodged between the enlarged & sometimes inflamed papillae. Now if you are unable to remove the layer I would have it evaluated by a dentist. Connect with my Virtual Practice on Healthtap for any dental questions with my special keycode: DFWMCQ!
