Why do some websites say a symptom of pancreatic cancer is lumpy fatty tissue? Is this referring to panniculitis caused by acinar cell carcinoma?

See below: Ms. Amanda: Unfortunately there are no good tests for screening for pancreatic cancer. Lipase is not reliable and lumpy fat is a quack thing. You may consult this site for info on this topic: http://www.cancer.org/cancer/pancreaticcancer/detailedguide/pancreatic-cancer-detection For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats.
