I bet it's not: If it starts growing or gets stuck to your nearby structures, get it seen. Otherwise, it's probably just the axillary lymph node that many of us have, especially if at some time you had an infection or contact dermatitis on that extremity and it got a little bit scarred up. Glad you're a good observer of your body. ...Read more

Lump: What you describe does not sound to be dangerous, not anything like cancer, since it has been asymptomatic and stable for 2 years. If you want to have it removed you can see a general surgeon or a family physician, most of whom are able to do simple excisions. The doctor may then advise to send it for a pathology report to know specifically what it is. ...Read more

Show your doctor: When you see your doctor next, show this to her. It may be a good idea to get rid of rather than watch and wait. If it is a benign lipoma it can grow. If it is scar tissue from previous abscesses, she can remove it. If it bothers you or looks unsightly have it removed. ...Read more

Hidradenitis?: This sounds like hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory condition of unknown cause that often affects the armpits or groin, sometimes other areas. Breast Tissue: Lumps in the armpit can be lots of different things, best sorted out by a surgeon. This is merely a variation of normal and no clinical consequence. If it bothers you, surgical excision can be done. ...Read more
