I try using a pillow to raise the back of my sore heel but it still doesn't stop the burning pain. I wonder if Achilles tendon is involved. Walk OK.
Good question: Achilles tendonopathy tends to produce an enlarged, tender tendon (particularly sore when squeezed). Also, small nerve branches supplying the heel can become irritated to cause a burning pain. One question: why are you taking clonazepam? Underlying disorder? See your doctor for exam. Details of the physical should help diagnosis, and this will help treatment. ...Read more

Achilles heel has a painful and burning sensation when i walk. It comes and goes, it's been going on for about 5months. Why is this happening?Explain!
Injury: I am a runner and had a similar problem for a length of time. You might have to incorporate some type of stretching. I would possibly first see a dr. And find out if the tendon is just strained or torn. Then, you might need some type of physical therapy, icing, heat, or even possibly ultrasound therapy. But need to be checked first! ...Read more

Burning fingers?: How did this happen? Were you cooking with habanero peppers without gloving your hands. I love them too but the capsaicin in them is really intense. Burning is neurological. Is it coming from outside or inside? If from outside get "Goop" at an auto store. It looks like cold cream but it's great at removing heavy chain organic compounds. If it's from inside that's another story. See a neurologist. ...Read more
