It could be a mild eczema, a fungal infection, a viral exanthem, a reaction to something you've come in contact with (a new perfume, lotion, soap), bug bites... It's a long list. As long as it's open: & not anymore than an uncovered blister, it will heal. Keep it clean, wash (scrub) it 3-4 times a day. That will get the crud off the top, may not feel good but unroofing it is good. Then if available to you cover with Silvadine cream, if not an antibiotic ointment. You want to keep it clean & not let it crust over. Keeping it covered with a band aid will keep it moist. ...Read more

Sound like a burn: Your symptoms are suggestive of a burn, or sunburn, as in a 1st degree burn, where you have redness and blisters but no true deep skin damage. It is typical for a rash to clear and have blisters left over; they are tiny areas of inflammation fluid left over from the active rash process. It sounds like it is resolving. Depends: Allergic reactions can cause skin hyperpigmentation. Depending on what caused the reaction (contact allergy or hives or irritant reaction or drug rash), the hyperpigmentation may or may not resolve. I cannot see your: pics but large blisters can be caused by many things including bites, allergic reactions, infection, blistering disorders. I recommend if you aren't clearing in the next week, or if it is getting bigger or more painful, you should see a board certified dermatologist ...Read more
