Treatment Of Rhonchi
How many days would it usually take for rales, rhonchi in to disappear after starting treatment and fever subsiding after 24 hours of treatment?
Pneumonia symptoms: It can take up to a week sometimes for those "noises" to disappear after starting appropriate treatment. You are now killing the bacteria causing the infection and noise, but now your body has to get rid of all that "garbage" down in the lungs. Do deep breathing and cough exercises to help loosen the material and open lung sacs and by all means avoid ANY respiratory irritants such as smoke, dust, ...Read more

Child strep and bad mucous cough. Antibiotics for 3 days still has fever. Doc prescribed claritin nasal spray and inhaler for rhonchi, why claritin?
Good question: I am not aware of a nasal spray containing Claritin. Even then it would not have done that much for nasal congestion or the cough That the fever is still present after 3 days of antibiotic points more to a viral infection which often causes coughing and wheezing in children especially before age 3. ...Read more

Depends: There are some drastic surgical measures that have been explored. I recall one that fractures the upper leg bones and places them in a special stretching halo, filling in the fracture site with donor bone. Takes years ; risk. This was years ago and involved treating little people who achieved a few inches. For regular folks, once the growth centers in your long bones have closed you are done growing. ...Read more

Endoscopy in ureter: Looking into the urine tube "backwards" from your bladder up towards your kidney (as opposed to "percutaneous nephroureteroscopy" - through your skin into the kidney). It can be done with a rigid or flexible scope. It is possible to access the kidney in this fashion, but is very time consuming and laborious. Depends on the overall stone burden remaining, or if the stones are stuck somewhere. ...Read more

Considering herbs: Integrative and holistic medicine doctors do use herbs in medical treatment. Sometimes they can be first line. In germany, for instance, this is often the case. In the us one must be very careful of herbal products because they are regulated as foods, not medicines.
