Finished Ciprobay treatment for UTI. Im still taking Flagyl. Each time I take Flagyl, my next pee is painful. Is it the med or UTI is still there?
More likely UTI: Cipro (ciprofloxacin)bay is an excellent antibiotic for UTIs, but unfortunately we are seeing an increasing # of Cipro (ciprofloxacin) resistant UTIs. Painful urination is not a known side effect of Flagyl. Thus my advice is to get your urine cultured & have your Dr. prescribe another antibiotic.
