Got sun burn in tanning bed and a day later there are red bumps (looks like bug bites) and there very itchy.. What is it? Will they go away?Treatment?

I have bed bug bites all over my entire body. Possibly infection. Itchy not painful. Some are red with dry blood. 100s of bumps and hives. Treatment?
Antihistamines: are a good "start" but the MAJOR effort here is the DISPOSAL of the affected sleeping materials or ERADICATION of the bugs ( very frustrating often not effective methods) I would "vote" for DISPOSAL! Get Chiggers off : Your skin asap by rubbing w a cloth or showering in warm water w soap. You can apply Hydrocortisone cream or take oral antihistamines for itching. There are products you can buy specifically to treat chiggers. Chigger bites usually resolve in 1 to 2 weeks w/o treatment. Get medical eval for infection. ...Read more

Topical cream: It is safe to use topical Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream on bug bites on infants. Also cool water or compresses or an oatmeal bath can be soothing. If necessary, you can try OTC Hydrocortisone 0.5% cream 1X/DAY (use very sparingly on an infant.) The best approach is prevention.
