The main thing is to get treated with a scabicide cream and have the people who have had prolonged direct contact with you treated. Hot water fine: Washing in hot water is sufficient to rid the clothes of the insect. For items that can't be washed for some reason, bag in a plastic garbage bag, seal it tight and leave items for at least three days. The insect cannot survive off the human longer than this, so that kills them all. ...Read more
