Fluids!: The whole answer is fluids. There is no medicine that you can obtain (the er has a couple at hand) that stop vomiting. If your child gets gastroenteritis (stomach flu), the only thing you can do is try to keep up with the fluid loss. Diarrhea: Malabsorption is usually diarrhea. Malabsorption usually means poor weight gain and sick infants. If this is so please go see your pediatrician or GI specialist. If otherwise growing the V&D could be formula intolerance to milk or perhaps soy. Try an elemental formula like nutramagen or alimentum.
