Can i get a general doctor to prescribe lamictal, trazodone and Buspar (buspirone) for me?

Can i get a general doctor to prescribe lamictal, trazodone and Buspar (buspirone) for me?

Maybe. : You will have to ask. Some family doctors/internists don't mind, but in my experience, they won't feel comfortable prescribing the lamictal. Most will be okay prescribing trazodone. It's not quick-acting, so best to take it a little ahead of bedtime. Side effects are rare in my experience. ...Read more

I started taking Trazodone for chronic insomnia. It worked great for 7 days. Then last night I took it, and even upped the dose, and got nothing. Does this mean it's never going to work again? Normal?

Try these tips too 1)avoid caffeine for 12 hours before sleep 2) do not use any electronics 2 hours before sleep 3) do not exercise just before sleep ...Read more
