Does transgender (female to male) and has surgery to remove the breasts and lymph nodes reduce the risk of breast cancer?

Probably: In general, transgender surgery does not remove your lymph nodes... Just the breasts. A cosmetic, non-cancer, operation for the breasts can occasionally leave some breast tissue. In: In my experience, surgery for repair of cleft lip/palate nasal deformities can be quite challenging even in the best of hands. Usually by the time an individual is at the adult stage, it is not uncommon for multiple surgeries on the lip and nose to have been accomplished. My suggestion is to find a plastic surgeon who is affiliated with a cleft palate team or at least one who has extensive experience in cleft rhinoplasty repair. While sending a picture of yourself would be helpful, it is most important to have a thorough exam of both the outside and inside of your nose to make the best recommendations. Finally, if it is at all possible to have access to your past operative records, this would be most helpful for the next surgeon to review. This would allow him/her to see what cartilage and or implants may have been placed. Best wishes. ...Read more
