Ischemia: Cardiac ischemia usually suggests coronary artery blockages. An echocardiogram does not detect coronary artery problems but can detect heart muscle damage, weakness or enlargement. An echocardiogram can be perfectly normal even when there is significant coronary artery disease. Some die from it if they are not treated soon enough.It is not like a seizure disorder.
