Feedback or cons/ bros on using all solid zirconium to support the length/span of 4 unit bridge covering teeth 11to14. Prevosiue porc bridge broken?
Very strong: An all zirconium bridge contains no metal and is very strong. Another bridge option is a porcelain over metal bridge, which you may already have that has broken. Other options for replacing missing teeth would be implant(s) to replace the missing teeth or a partial denture. However, we are big proponents for all-zirconium bridges that are more biocompatible with the tissue than metal based bridges ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

When looking at text on screen, colours of individual letters change periodically - from black to navy blue. Not computer; overworking eyes? Diabetes?
Macular issue: The variations in the colors of the letters localizes the problem area to the central retina, the macula lutea, aka the fovea centralis. Diabetes is not impossible but not likely without a history. A retinal toxicity to the antibiotics for h. Pylori is also possible. A retina specialist or general ophthalmologist is the starting point for a dilated examination of the back of your eyes asap. ...Read more

Is there anyway stretching or sitting cross legged can permanently make one grow taller? How about stretching from chiropractors manipulations? I'm 40
No: At 40 you are as tall as you will ever be. No diet, drug, stretch or manipulation can change that.If you have a year + to burn & lots of spare cash you could go outside the US to find a special treatment. They surgically break your upper legs & place you in specialized frames that can stretch you a few inches while the bones heal. There is no guarantee & the procedure is not approved in the US ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Knees hurt after climbing 3 flights of stairs to apartment. Dr said my kneecaps slide around, loose/flexible. Any exercises to help and strengthen?
Patellar Tracking: Your description sounds like patellar tracking disorder. The kneecap (patella) shifts out of place as the leg bends or straightens. The kneecap shifts too far toward the outside of the leg. Weak thigh muscles, being overweight, poor alignment of the knee joints, any injury to the knee, all can contribute. Treatment has two goals: reduce pain and strengthen muscles around the knee. Hv dedicated PT. ...Read more
40yr. Old male 3 months out from hybrid maze ablation surgery for afib with pvc's 13% of the time , is it safe to lift heavy & resume road bicycling ?
Should be fine: Since you went through a significant procedure, you should ask your cardiologist. The pvcs likely do dot represent a big risk. Perhaps they will get better. If not, they can be left alone, treated with mess or ablated. In the end you went through this so you could have a normal life. I'd say you should do what you can to get back to it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
All solid zirconium that support span of 4 unit bridge covering teeth 11 to 14 broke after 10 weeks. Previous porc bridge also broken. Causes/options?
Dynamic forces: Many factors can lead to this, but most important are the support base and the bite. This is a long span to cover when starting with the canine, but do not expect the zirconium to fx. Likely clenching/grinding without occlusal guard/compliance . See the expert in reconstruction - Prosthodontist. Consider 2 crowns and 2 implants (12,13) with crowns and bite correction (lower arch). good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I'm kalyan 21yrs by this nov12.I'm just 5'7.I want to increase "will kicking, stretching exercises, inversion exercise, hanging, jumping increase my heigh?
No: I know of nothing that will increase your height. Very rarely people do grow a bit in height after 21, but over 99% of the time one has stopped growing by age 21 & i know of nothing that will change that. While not as tall as average (average height in the us for caucasians is about 5'10", but 5'7" for hispanics) you are not unusually short. Given this is unlikely to change, it is wise to accept it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
