Tragus ear ring: Cleaning it by taking it out once a week and cleaning the ear ring and the piercing with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol and then applying a little vaseline should keep the area healthy and clean. Mind you that rings in ear going through cartilage can cause keloid type scars even if you are not prone to keloids. If you see that happening, see a plastic surgeon. ...Read more
18 days since I got my Tragus pierced and it still hurts a TAD when u touch the earring. Is that normal?
Yes: Yes, but until it heals completely, you are at risk for infection. Watch for increasing redness, cloudy drainage, worsening pain that could indicate that it is infected. ...Read more
Tragus 20 days old. Last night backing fell off earring/had trouble putting back on/successfully did. Now I got a small pimple thing next 2 hole. Bad?

What to do if I got my tragus pierced a week ago and it's now swollen . I've been cleaning it with h2ocean. I've tried to turn the earring but it's stuck!?

I would find someone who had a good experience and use that piercer. ...Read more

I got my tragus pierced about 3 months ago and it still hurts and it still is getting the crusties on it. Why?
Maybe....: Because your tragus was never meant to be pierced! Seriously, it sounds like you might have a bit of an infection going on. You could also be reacting to the metal in the piercing. Keep it clean, I like using peroxide and then dabs of neosporin myself. Get it checked out. I do find that for some people, the "crusties" without infection can persist. ...Read more
