I am 20 f. Urine culture 2 weeks ago results showed occult blood of trace. Blood in urine. Now i notice white small shredded like stuff. What is it?

Inconsistent info: Urine culture does not detect blood. If urine culture was negative for bacterial growth, the "white small shredded like stuff" is likely to be mucus and not something to be concerned about. If you do have blood in urine and it was not contamination from menstrual blood, it needs to be evaluated by your doctor. ...Read more

Have pain right side under my ribs, radiates to the back. Comes and goes. Interupts my day life. Trace blood in urine. Hist stones dr say muscles skel?

Possible renal stone: Intermittent pain in the side, radiating to the back, and associated with blood in the urine, can be due to a urinary tract stone. This can be very uncomfortable. There are certainly other possible causes, but an x-ray to look for a stone would be worthwhile. A CT scan without contrast is the best way to find a small stone. ...Read more

Have what feels like bladder and vaginal pain and pressure with trace blood in urine but no uti and had hysterectomy 3 years ago ideas on what wrong ?

QuacksLikeADuck??: What do you mean "no UTI?" You have some of the symptoms. Was a urine culture done? (the gold standard in your case). And why was your 'hooterus' yanked out? Could something have 'grown' as a result of that?Still have your ovaries?Bowel habits normal? Was a pelvic exam done? There's a lot to consider. Talk to whomever checked your urine or get a second opinion. Don't freak, just go a step at a time. ...Read more

Don't worry too much: Less than 4 red blood cells per high power field is normal.I suspect your test showed more than this as you had an ultrasound and CT done.**Your physician may want you to have a cystoscopy to look into your bladder, however bladder cancer would be very unlikely due to your age and lack of gross(visible)blood in your urine. If renal function is normal and no proteinuria would recheck U/A yearly. ...Read more

Always had trace blood in urine. Had UTI 6 days ago follow up urine still has large amounts of blood. Blood work good no kidney pain. Bladder cancer?

Micro hematuria: Microhematuria in a 34 year-old female who has never smoked is not very likely to be due to bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is not really genetic in nature. Despite that, you should have a hematuria workup which would include imaging of your kidneys as well as a cystoscopy and a variety of possible urine studies. ...Read more

Joint pain fatigue headaches trace blood in urine hair sheds more than normal 320 homogenous ANA. All other blood test normal what could be wrong?

If you have history: of rheumatoid condition, then the homogenous ANA high titer is likely expected to happen. ANA titers only signify an autoimmune type disease, not much more as it is ubiquitously high in many different disease processes. I would be in close working relationship with the healthcare provider you will be referred to sort this out. Good luck. ...Read more
