What are the symptoms of toxoplasmosis in a blood sample? I have erythrocytopenya , back pains, sore throat also low leukocytes. But not much
Many possibilities: The red herring here is your hx of cat scratches which raises the question of toxoplasmosis. But your other symptoms don't suggest that. I think it's unrelated. I suspect you have a viral pharyngitis but you need a throat culture to rule out strep, or, if appropriate, a gram negative diplococcus (neisserian species). ...Read more

Maybe antibiotics: Sore throat can be caused by virus or bacteria. I would recommend that you see a doctor and get a rapid strep and culture. If it is strep, you will need a prescription for an antibiotic. In the meantime there are lots of soothing otc lozenges for relief of pain.
