Would you recommend surgery for severe medial epicondylitis.? I have tried cortisone, art therapy, aleve, (naproxen) voltaren cream, and rest for the last 2 mo
Lateral (tennis elbow) or medial (golfer's elbow) epicondylitis are common overuse injuries. In order to treat the pain, I recommend patients start w/ rice, follow w/ stretching/ strengthening (therapy), & consider couterforce bracing. If these treatments fail you may be a candidate for cortisone or prp injections. Some people end up needing surgery.

Maximum dose of Naprosyn is 500mgm every 12 hrs. We don't know your age. Only thing you have to watch is any pain in upper abdomen.nausea&vomiting due to irritation of stomach. And depending on your age it may or may not affect your kidneys as long as your kidney functions are normal.

No major issue. Thing is if the individual takes Prasugrel he likely had a PCI done. If such is the case NSAIDs are not recommended on patients with CAD.
