Bone spur and Plantar fascitis in left foot from accident that fractured entire left side of body. Severe pain left outside of foot, under+behind heel.
Depending on who is using the term, bone pain can be used to describe a pain that seems very deep, as opposed to something more superficial, or the term can be limited to pain that arises from the bone itself. Treatment for undisplaced fracture or bone bruise of posterior medial talus and articular surface, and minor bone bruise distal calcaneous?
Could be Cyst: Would have to know more medical history, was there a sprain or injury. Where is this mass, how long, etc. Without knowing this, it is almost impossible to diagnose. Could be cyst, sprain or strain of tendons or ligaments, possible fracture. My advice would be to see foot/ankle specialist ASAP. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Heel spur on back of foot &below back of foot. Achilles tendinitis visible bump on the side opposite of the ankle. Been years. Pains unbearable. Help?
Sick Achilles.: Your comments sound like the findings of a previous x-ray exam. I'm not sure what is meant by "bump on the opposite side of the ankle". If it is in the Achilles tendon, then extreme pain, could make sense. It sounds as though there is something amiss with your Achilles tendon. It would make sense to immobilize the ankle, and begin non-weight bearing until tendon imaging studies can be performed ...Read more
Would pain under the bony knob of the inside of the left ankle and pain in the bend of the left ankle/foot be from posterior tibial tendonitis?
I got non displaced Fracture of medial malleouls of right tibia extending upto the articural surface with overlaying soft tissue swelling .
Fell directly on patella. Pain at bottom. Also pain when lightly touching surface of bone. Surrounding muscle tightness. Maybe hairline fracture?
Possibly : The mechanism and symptoms you are describing could certainly represent a patella fracture. You might consider being seen for an X-ray just to make sure it does not need to be mobilized. Non displaced patella fractutes can be treated without surgery, but if it displaces surgery is often required. ...Read more

Be seen: There are a lot of structures in that area that can cause pain including the intervertebral discs, the lumbar facet joints, and the SI joints. If it is causing you a lot of trouble, I would not hesitate to be seen and a detailed exam and appropriate studies can usually determine the cause. ...Read more
In absence of injury: This could be ganglion, or a swelling from underlying bone, nerve, muscle, or vascular tissue. If its getting bigger or causing pain, etc. Then need for investigating it further with xrays, mri/ct scans, blood work. Surgical removal with biopsy would most likely be necessary to get definite diagnosis. ...Read more
