Top 10 Bodybuilding Supplements
Can you please tell me which is the top combination of bodybuilding supplements for putting on mass?
Exercise and good nu: Good nutrition combined with regular exercise can help you achive your goals. The diet should be rich in proteins which are contained in milk, meats, eggs, soy/tofu and nuts. Avoid fats as much as possible. Other supplements are not necessary and may be a waste of money. Daily exercise is the best means to build your muscles and gain strength. ...Read more
A dietary supplement, also known as food supplement or nutritional supplement, is a preparation intended to supplement the diet and provide nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, fatty acids, or amino acids, that may be missing or may not be consumed in sufficient quantities in a person's diet. Some countries define dietary supplements as foods, while ...Read more
Be savvy: Try to get enough lean protein. When you're bulking up, try to eat 1 gram per pound that you weigh daily. Creatine will help you gain bulk. Ask your physician whether an electronic muscle stimulator is right for you. Beyond this, I'd urge you to avoid the whole supplement game -- the benefits, if any, are small and there's a lot of charlatanism. Glad you're opting for fitness. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
The simple stuff: Creatine helps you gain mass and is very safe. Unless your diet is already very rich in protein, you can supplement with whey protein (soy if you are vegan.) I am very glad you're lifting. There may be something to supplementing with arginine but the evidence is less; any other supplements are for you to choose. For your own sake and those around you, avoid steroids -- who likes an ugly cheater? ...Read more
Know what it is: I'm extremely glad you're asking about supplements, not steroids. Almost all women prefer a natural bodybuilder and everyone i've known who's used steroids in the past has regretted it. Creatine is very safe, whey protein is cheap and excellent while you're bulking, the other legal supplements are harder on your bank account than your organs, & "gym drinks" may be steroid-spiked. ...Read more

Isn't bigger not the: objective but rather stronger? U can get bigger by body building but this does not give U more strength & endurance. U would be a bigger but slower swimmer. Lap swimming & speed swimming will be better. Also a weight training program for strength will help. A strong lean body with strength & stamina is what U want. Ask your coach or trainer 4 a program 2 help reach your goal. A good swimmer=work! ...Read more
Do i have to cycle creatine? , is there health risks from the supplement? i take 2.5 g a day and i do bodybuilding. Thanks
Safe: Creatine is a natural substance necessary for muscle strength. Taking a supplement during bodybuilding is safe and has been shown to significantly help body building. I recommend it to people who are overweight and are pursuing a physical fitness program. It appears to be useful in rehabilitating mitochondrial and other neuromuscular disorders with muscle strengthening exercises. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
How effective is taking L-glutamine as a supplement for bodybuilding? Does it work? How much should one take if you think it works?
Not very: Glutamine is in everything you eat that's got protein. Your best supplement for bulk is creatine. The other thing that works is an electronic muscule stimulator unit if your physician is okay with it. Stay away from steroids; every guy i know who tried them was sorry. Glad you're lifting. ...Read more
Can a 55kg bodybuilding beginner take mega mass or supermass. And what about casilan 90. When should supplements be taken( after or before workouts)?
Be careful!: Be careful! dietary supplements are not well regulated. Unlike prescription and over the counter drugs, which are regulated by the fda, supplements are not. The ingredient list is not always accurate, and may contain harmful ingredients. Drugs have to have scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness, but even they can have side effects. Supplements do not have such safeguards. ...Read more
No: Your body keeps itself clean, and exercising helps. Protein powders offer no advantage over quality lean dietary protein except perhaps price; carb powders are probably not doing you any good. Creatine's a helpful supplement for bulk; beyond this, I'd advise you not to invest much money or enthusiasm in any bodybuilding supplements. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
