Protection needed: If this environment is going to continue to be yours, you NEED to get and use a mask of sufficient rating to protect your mucus membranes. It's essential! Check online or at a library or Dr's office for advice on one. Also if good cleansing w/ water, non-alcohol mouthwash and rest doesn't fix it in a day, see a Dr or go to ER. You might be allergic. Be careful!

Pain is never normal: The damage is done, the too-hot food has been consumed, and your burned mouth is swollen. Avoid sharp, crunchy foods, vitamin E application and good oral hygiene will heal the condition in seven days. Take care.

See Dentist ASAP: See your Dentist as soon as you can for examination, diagnosis and treatment. The swollen node could be from many things, not necessarily related to the mouth conditions. Gum tissue coloration varies and may be something more noticeable due to the recession or a calculus buildup. Palatal bumps could be from a number of things, as well. See the Dentist and get this resolved so you can not worry.

Burned roof of mouth a few days ago now it still is sore and tissue is swollen could be infected how can I heal it faster?

Without further: Additional injury, the burn should resolve in 10-14 days since the accident, probably another week for you. Sorry, no miracle treatments are available to speed that healing process. Avoid spicy foods and use bland toothpaste. Ask your dentist about a prescription rinse that can help soothe the area while it heals. Good luck!

I have a swollen lump on the roof my mouth (hard palate), that is located evenly with the left side of my back teeth but over a little, painful.?

Palatal tori: It may be palatal tori, which is a normal overgrowth of bone on the roof of your mouth. Sometimes food or your toothbrush can scrap the tender tissue stretching over the tori causing pain. Rinse with warm salt water. You need to see a dentist to make sure you do not have a palatal abcess due to an infected tooth or less likely oral cancer.

Swollen patch on the roof of mouth near wisdom tooth. Not in any pain. It bleeds quite a lot every so often. I floss & use mouthwash but no joy.?

Probably abscessed: Sounds like the wisdom tooth is abscessed and draining through the path of least resistance, which in this case is the roof of your mouth. When a tooth abscesses, that means that decay has entered the pulp and the bacteria are producing nasty pus that is draining out of the root end of your tooth. Please see your dentist asap to get this tooth extracted.

I have a swollen tonsil and canker soar at roof of mouth followed by irritation in my nose, why?

I have a swollen tonsil and canker soar at roof of mouth followed by irritation in my nose, why?

Cancer sore: Nobody knows the actual cause of these annoying lesions. They are often brought on by stress, including underlying infection. It is probable that you have a virus causing upper respiratory tract inflammation in your tonsil and nose and probably have a sore throat as well. These should clear up in about 8 to 10 days. Hope you feel better soon.
