I have a headache on the top middle of my head. I took tylenol (acetaminophen) but has not eased any. What could this be?

My sister has a sharp headache that started yesterday night. She has no history of migraines. Little physical activity. She took Tylenol (acetaminophen)?
I've been getting sharp headache pains at the top of my head. I took Tylenol, (acetaminophen) that didn't work. It just started today. Should I be worried?
Likely your scalp: Your head is covered with muscle and skin with blood vessels, lymph vessels and small nerves. Together this is called your scalp. Your description sounds like some of the small nerves in the area where your headache is have been irritated. You could have a bite, pimple, brushed or combed too hard, hit the area for a few possible causes. Try like Ibuprofen if no med problems. See MD if persists. ...Read more
Got pain while taking shower this morning on one side upper back shoulder area! Took tylenol (acetaminophen) and having relief but still there! What should I do?
Aleve (naproxen) and heat: It sounds like a pulled muscle and should resolve over the next few days to 2 weeks. If you have no drug allergies, I suggest taking 2 Aleve (naproxen) twice daily with food (breakfast and dinner) x 7 days and use heat twice daily in am and pm x 20 minutes. If the pain has not resolved after 2 weeks or is getting worse after another few days, then you should see your Doctor. ...Read more
I took Tylenol (acetaminophen) Pm for the first time in a long time and my skin feels burned, its been 10 hours and the burning hasn't stopped, what could this mean?
I am very surprised that one dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen) is associated with skin that feels burned. If it has not changed within 24 hours I would recommend you have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility. If you are indeed more worried, don't wait 24 hours but go to Emergency.
Hope all goes well. ...Read more

Not fever.: Temperature of 100.9 is a low to moderate fever but 99.1 is not a fever. Do you have any other symptoms besides fever like cough, cold, vomiting, diarrhea etc.? If not why do you have a need to take daily temperatures? Please stop taking temperature everyday if you are not feeling sick anymore. ...Read more
Suffering from horrific headaches my whole life tests rule out nothing serious, its hereditary. I just took tylenol, (acetaminophen) did nothing. When can I take excedrin?
I took tylenol (acetaminophen) with neuro sleep® and I am not sure if that was a good idea or a bad one?
Yes, and no:
Neurosleep is a supplement drink high in melatonin that should aid in helping you sleep. Not scientifically proven in multiple studies but also not shown to be harmful. No negative interaction with tylenol (acetaminophen).
In summary, neurosleep might or might not help with sleep, but does not seem harmful and does not have a negative interaction with tylenol (acetaminophen). ...Read more

No: Not if you took 2 plain or even extra-strength acetaminophen, and even if you got drunk. However, REGULAR use of tylenol, even in therapeutic doses (2 grams or less per day, 4 grams at MOST), together with REGULAR use of alcohol, can cause toxicity and damage the liver. If you take a VERY large amount of tylenol, alcohol can make that more toxic and likely to cause liver damage. ...Read more
Nonspecific: Too nonspecific. Unless you have liver dysfunction you can safely take up to 3000mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen) a day. If continues or you have neurologic changes, seek emergency help. Unlikely to be significant at your age unless other extenuating circumstances- genetic risk for aneurysm formation, drug use, etc. ...Read more
Congestion with fever high 103 took tylenol (acetaminophen) 2 hours ago now 102.2. Any suggestions?
Don't take more!: Fever is a key aspect of how we fight infections- microbes don't survive at high temperature ; our white blood cells work better. Reducing fever may help someone feel better temporarily but prolong infections! Take tylenol (acetaminophen) only if you're miserable but know you're sabotaging your immune system ; will be ill longer. I suggest umcka, homeopathy; fluids-see http://bit. Ly/1f6rjci ; http://bit. Tylenol (acetaminophen) dosing: Yes, you can take a 1000mg dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen). However, in any 24 hour span don't exceed 3000mg. Also, since Tylenol (acetaminophen) is metabolized by the liver, avoid alcohol if you are going to be taking larger doses for more than a few days. Then talk to OB/GYN about other options for pain control with your fibroids. ...Read more

Every now and then I wake up with a headache, I took tylenol (acetaminophen) I still have a headache that always on the side of my head. Could this be from coumadin?
It's possible: Headaches could have one of many possible causes. A coumadin-related headache would be very worrisome since it could be caused by a bleed in your head. The higher your inr (coumadin (warfarin) blood test), the greater the risk of a bleed if you hit your head. High blood pressure and migraine are two other causes and the list of others is long. Get your inr and BP checked; tell your md of your headaches. ...Read more

Did you feel bad for a day or so, the shivers and the headache, most probably are related to a cold.
DO you have a running nose, congested sinuses, sneezing, muscle acke? . If these symptoms come today, I think you have a cold.
Did you get vaccinated?, do you someone close to you with similar symptoms? . If you continue with worsening symptoms, you should see a Dr. And take ANTB. In the mean time Motrin every 4-6 hrs.
you may, request to see me again, and go in more detail over the symptoms, and request a CXR ...Read more
What causes panic attacks? Last night I awoke in middle of night and felt like I was passing out. Took Tylenol (acetaminophen) and water and was able to get to sleep.
Panic attacks: In many cases, panic attacks strike without any warning. Often, there is no clear reason for the attack. They may even occur when you’re relaxed or asleep. A panic attack may be a one-time occurrence, but many people experience repeat episodes. Recurrent panic attacks are often triggered by a specific situation, such as speaking in public, especially if that situation has caused a panic before. ...Read more
