If I took provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10mg for 10 and it's just now showing up will the provera (medroxyprogesterone) affect my baby?
No: It sounds like you took the medication Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days and wonder if it will impact your baby. If you were not pregnant when you took Provera (medroxyprogesterone) it will not harm the baby. If you were early pregnancy and took Provera (medroxyprogesterone) it is unlikely that it will cause any harm at all. Check with your doctor if you have more concerns. ...Read more
I took provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days to stop a cycle that I had been on for 3 weeks I started back bleeding 2days after I had finshed the dose. Howlongwilliblee?
Limited time: Taking Progesterone such as Provera (medroxyprogesterone) usually works well to stop a prolonged period. However the next period will come 2-5 days after finishing the medication. This period should be more normal in length - the Progesterone helps you to both have a period and have it be self limited. If periods are irregular it can be helpful to take bcp or Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to regulate them. ...Read more
Soon: As long as your body is capable of producing estrogen, you will build a uterine lining. Taking provera (medroxyprogesterone) prepares the lining to be shed like a menstration. This is also known as a withdrawal bleed and should occur about 24 to 48 hours after stopping the provera (medroxyprogesterone). If by this time you have not had any spotting or bleeding, you should get further advice from your doctor ...Read more
Took Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days, period 10 days so far very heavy and lots of clots and pain. When will it stop?
Unnatural cycle...: Induced by Provera (medroxyprogesterone) withdrawal can be unpredictable. If a perimenopausal patient goes many months between periods, the lining could have been very thick over that time and the period longer and heavier. Also around menopause, the estrogens needed to rebuild a new lining to seal off the old can be reduced. If you are concerned and the bleeding is not slacking off, see your GYN. ...Read more

Since your periods are irregular there is no way to predict when one might come. Birth-control pills would likely be more effective to regulate you. ...Read more

Provera (medroxyprogesterone): Hi. Provera (medroxyprogesterone) withdrawal is usually just a test to see if a woman who's not having periods is making estrogen. Clomid (clomiphene) Start: You want to start Clomid (clomiphene) in the beginning of the menstrual cycle. Clomid (clomiphene) works by increasing the stimulation to the ovary.
