No: Plan b is designed to force your period earlier than expected. Taking it twice in two weeks is likely to really change your cycle for the next month or so. You are ok....BUT: Irregular bleeding after taking plan B is actually fairly common. Between 10 - 20 percent of all women who take emergency contraception will have some irregular bleeding. The bleeding after emergency contraception is rarely serious and almost always resolves within the month. It should not be used in place of regular contraception. Potential side effects w plan b: tender breasts; menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period); loose stools; dizziness; headache; nausea/ vomiting; abdominal pain / cramping or fatigue. When and when : When did you take Plan B relative to unprotected sex? When did you do hpt? I'd you took Plan B within 4-5 days of unprotected sex, it should have been effective. If you took it later than that, it was probably ineffective. The hpt is accurate after missing period for 1-2 weeks. ...Read more
