Maybe the grey areas you were seeing were polyps. The cefdinir is an appropriate antibiotic for treatment. See your doc: If you had has normal measles (rubeola) as a kid, you should be immune. You may have german measles (rubella). I wouldn't expect so if you were vaccinated as a child. Alternatively, if you are blistering on anything with a mucous membrane lips, cheeks, throat, eyes--you could be having a bad allergic reaction called stevens johnson syndrome. Maybe antibiotic: It really depends on if the inflammation is viral or bacterial. If there is no fever measured by thermometer, and there is no white pathches on tonsils, probably rial. Give tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. If there is high fever, white patches, and inability to swallow, more likely bacterial and will need antibiotics.
