I recently developed swelling and pain on the right side of my second right toe. I do have discoid lupus but it doesn't look like a usual sore.
Toe Swelling: There are many reasons a toe can be swollen. Tight shoes, ingrown toenails, corns and calluses, for example, may all cause toes to be swollen and painful.
