I noticed yesterday I've got two fang like red with white tip pieces of flesh one on each side of therbottom of my tongue. What could they be?
Irritation: Could be many things, but this time of year allergies are abundant and people are rubbing their tongue to scratch their palate or cheeks. I have leukoplakia on the underside and side of my tongue one the left. One area is red, raised and angry looking and hurts. This began 4 months ago?
Leuko = White: White lesions are common, red lesions less so. Mixed lesions are considerably more risky. Use three-day rule: anything that is "wrong" or different in the mouth that lasts more than three days or happens over three different days is bigger than you think. Get it checked. If cancerous, you'll be glad you did. Oral lesions should be substantially resolved in ~2weeks. 4 months? Don't wait any longer. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
