Tombstone Ekg Rhythm
DX neurocardiogenic syncope ECG: Left atrial enlargement,Low voltage QRS, Borderline ECG Normal sinus rhythm. Is the ECG normal?
No: Abnormal. Low voltage Left atrial enlargement . ...Read more
Electrocardiogram (ecg, ekg) is a print-out of the electrical forces detected by electrodes on the chest wall, as electricity travels through the heart with each heart beat. The electrodes are placed in different positions, and each position "sees" the electrical activity of the heart from its own vantage point. Abnormalities in signal detected at chest surface ...Read more
Heart echo echo ekg holter and 1month event monitor normal.Having skipped beats and chest tightness.whats causing it.Skipped beats notrecoded on event?
Ask details.: Were there isolate atrial or ventricular premature beats on the Holter. Even if there were, if they are infrequent and if a stress-echo test was normal, it sounds as though everything indicates nothing serious. Simply continue to monitor symptoms and, if symptoms worsen, repeat monitoring. ...Read more
Possible hemiblock: An abnormal right axis plus minimally prolonged qrs duration defines what is termed a left posterior hemiblock (block of the posteroinferior fascicle of the left branch of the bundle of his). An abnormal right axis can also occur in conditions with elevated right heart pressure and resultant right ventricular enlargement. Normal sinus rhythm means no rhythm disturbance. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Ekg say flat t waves in v4v5v6.Check av block of higher degree. Absolute arrhythmia, atrial flutter.Inferior myocardial infarction, probably old, normal?
I have tachycardia! rate of 130+ always! which i've had ekgs, holter monitors, event monitor, CT angiogram, & heart ultra sound which were all norm?
It depends: Even though the work up has been normal, you could still have inappropriate sinus tachycardia or supra ventricular tachycardia (avnrt for instance). If the tachycardia persists, you should see an electrophysiologist - doctor that specializes in heart rhythm disorders - and she or he can take a look at your tests and decide if something else needs to be done. ...Read more
Trouble breathing, rapid heart rate, EKG revealed flattened t waves. Doc ordered echo consulted cardio who added nuclear stress test. Is this serious?
My heart structurally fine on echo, MRA, ECG, MRI, holter monitors. Is it unlikely my frequent PVCs will turn into Ventricular tachycardia/death?
Unlikely: With a normal heart based on all the studies you have had, PVCs are usually benign and not like to precipitate ventricular tachycardia. The caveat is that you are on diltiazem as well as amitriptyline both of which can affect the heart rhythm. Thus you should continue to have your EKG monitor. All the best to you! ...Read more
ECG: That is a common ECG reading which can indicate something is wrong but also can be as it says nonspecific and 'no big deal'. Ask your doctor if there is reason for concern or further investigation. ...Read more
Would cardiac mri & mra without contrast, ecg, 48hr ecg, echocardiogram, treadmill ecg rule out the majority of heart problems in 25 yr old?
ABSOLUTELY: This is more than enough testing and most insurers would NOT cover all these tests! Hope this helps ...... ...Read more
Would echo, ekg, stress test, xray, bloodwork rule out any arrhythmia problem such as premature ventricular contraction and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation?
No: Occasional PVCs are normal. Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation by definition is only present some of the time and the tests you list could easily miss this if done while the heart is in normal rhythm. Diagnosis of intermittent arrhythmias can be difficult and frequently requires consultation with a cardiologist subspecialized in electrophysiology, Holter monitor test is frequently used. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Male 22. Get pvc's often. Had ecg, 24hecg, stress ecg, echo, cardiac mri/mra. Safe to ignore the pvc's? Its a quick skipped beat feeling.
Had ekgs, holter monitors, event monitor for a month, heart ultra sound, CT angiogram. All normal! is it safe 2 say my tachycardia is benign?
Probably: But there are other factors you haven't addressed. When you have tachycardia, what are your symptoms? Do you pass out? Is there any family history of sudden or unexpected death? Do you have a normal qt interval on your ekg? Is there any evidence of WPW or brugada syndrome? Tachycardia is common. Most is benign. Check on the above questions. ...Read more
Ecg read nonspecific st & t wave abnormality myocardial changes P waves showed superior axis normal sinus rhythm w/sinus arrhythmia? What does it mea
Yes and No: EKG can show some changes in Q and S waves and ST. Elevation may suggest old myocardial infarction. Hotter monitor is a device that registers heart rhythms/ rate for an extended period of 24-48 hrs. It's main use is to diagnose various types of heart blocks. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
