Most women do clear their HPV infection. Do keep getting PAP smears as advised by your doctor. Rimming is not increasing you risk of anal cancer over what you have otherwise.

However, any open wound is susceptible to infection, and certainly there are a lot of bacteria present both in that area of the body and in public toilets.
