Varies : There are several potential explanations for this. Plantar flexion will have a tendency to stretch the peroneal tendons, which are right near your zone if injury and so this may be irritating it. Dorsiflexuon will tend to relax them. Have it evaluated: If the nail was removed and allowed to regrow, the new nail my be digging into the nail bed.
