Toddler has been on zithromax for 3 days for a suspected GI infection. Her diarrhea has stopped. Urinates normal, acts normal. Is this good? Meds working?

Improvement is good: This is encouraging news to hear ur toddler is improving after a GI illness. If your child is making lots of urine (wet diapers), acting normally and without diarrhea I would say recovery is almost complete. Maybe if your doc did a workup (cultures), that Q could be answered ...Read more

My toddler has trouble with cow milk, and lactose free milk. He becomes constipated after a few cups. But cow based toddler formula gives him diarrhea?

Simplify: Most american children drink way too much milk and yes milk can result in a child who is very constipated. However, formulas are filled with vitamins and ions and electrolytes that make you have a diarrhea in excess because it retains water in your intestines.
