Infected?: Sounds like it might have gotten irritated and then a skin infection. Suggest wash it with hydrogen peroxide to clear off dead skin. Possible allergy: If you wear earrings and have this rash you may be allergic to the nickel in the earrings. See a dermatologist or your general doctor who can prescribe a cortisone cream and stop wearing the earrings till the rash has gone away. Unilateral redness, irritation and itchiness down there. Not yeast. No bumps or anything just red and a bit red and swollen from itchiness.
