All symptoms of pneumonia except fever. Could it still be pneumonia? Chest pain, bad cough, trouble catching breath, slight wheezing, etc.
Woke up today w bad cough, no sputum (non-productive) that causes chest pain. Minor trouble breathing, runny nose, temp 99.2 f. cold or bronchitis?
Both: A cold is an upper respiratory infection. Acute bronchitis is also an upper respiratory infection. I would say you have both: acute bronchitis caused by a cold. The risk is that you may have a LOWER respiratory infection (i.e. pneumonia) - the fever is the worrisome sign. You need to be seen by your doctor ASAP. Sometimes antibiotics really are needed! ...Read more

Been sick today with a cough, phlegm, burning chest, slight difficulty swallowing and breathing and chills, a little warm no fever what can it be?
Should I go to the ER? Mild fever 5 days chest and sinus congestion, deep cough and wheezing. Lightheaded with headache and body aches
Primary Care: Your primary care provider is likely a better choice for non life-threatening illness. ER doctors are trained to work quickly and efficiently in situations where the patient's life is at risk, so you are more likely to be exposed to tests that involve radiation or risk of false-positive results. Of course if you are struggling to breath, the ER is appropriate. ...Read more

Could be pneumonia.: I don't recommend that you battle this all by yourself. You should see a doctor. If that's impractical--it is Christmas eve--I'm sure one of our Health Tap doctors would be happy to do a virtual consult with you. A full audiovisual consult is a better choice than a text only consult in a case like this. Sorry you're feeling so bad. -( ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
2yo with flu high fever puking chills sore throat cough runny nose he keeps spitting like his mouth taste bad! what to give besides tylenol (acetaminophen) ibuprofen?
Clear fluids: Give small amounts of pedialyte of chicken broth sweetened with a small amount of sugar to prevent dehydration. If you start with 1/2 tsp every 10-15 minutes you can often give enough fluids to prevent or treat dehydration. Increase amount of 1/2 tsp every hour or so as tolerated. Your child sounds like one the pediatrician should see. May want to do a rapid strep screen & assess for dehydration. ...Read more
My throat hurts really bad when i swallow and cough no fever just runny nose and pain in neck sneezing?
Throat pain: Throat pains on swallowing and coughing may mean the possibility of a tonsil issue or chronic sinus infection. The fact that you do not have a fever reduces the chance of tonsillitis. There are other questions that need to be answered like the length of time that has been occurring and if there is any issues with swallowing liquids or solids. Would recommend further physical examination with an md. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Sinus probs for full week w/fever,ear pain, congestion, cough. No fever now lightheaded,Cant catch a decent breath,Chest very heavy,no fever just cough?
Shortness of breath: These symptoms should be investigated formally by a doc. I hate to think of it, but sometimes after a viral infection, a bacterial infection can settle in as a one-two punch. Good you don't have fever, but maybe you're suppressing it with motrin/tylenol? I think you need a chest X-ray to make sure your lungs are OK. Hope you get some help there. ...Read more
