Definitely: Tmj (disorder) can occur at anytime and can come and go with periods of stress or difference in routine. Swollen lymph nodes are not commonly associated and i would go back for a quick check up in case it's actually something else. ...Read more

Pain/swelling: May be 2separate issues. Swollen node behind ear may not be associated with TMJ. Wear your splint as much as possible, take OTC pain meds. If not getting better in 12-24 hours, call the Dentist who made the splint. ...Read more
