Morning sickness: It is not unusual for the sickness symptoms to get better. It is true the sickness can last longer but sometimes it gets better sooner. Perhaps you are further along in your pregnancy. Miscarriage is always still a risk in the first few months so getting an ultrasound will help you see if there is a good heartbeat and pregnancy. ...Read more

No: mOther than the mild depression (if it is because of the loss of the pregnancy) - those symptoms are not common, especially so long (5 months) after the miscarriage. (the heavy cycles can be normal, but best to see your doctor and have a sonogram and make sure nothing unusual with the lining of your uterus). Probably not: It can take six months or so to regulate out a menstrual cycle after any pregnancy. There are tests that can determine what is going on with your hormones during your cycle if you are concerned. ...Read more

Not if a real period: But, it can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. Pregnancy testing: You can do a home urine pregnancy test at any point. Then repeat weekly if it's negative. Breast tenderness and fatigue are very "non-specific" symptoms so can be from hormonal imbalances or the period just trying to get back on track.
