Its a process...: See your doctor for pre-conception counseling to discuss medications, medical problems, vaccines, vitamins, etc. Then enjoy being with your partner. If you are not pregnant in 3-4 months, consider using an ovulation prediction kit to help with timing. If you are not pregnant within 12 months, see an Ob/Gyn or fertility specialist. Basal thermometer: There are other ways to know when you are ovulating. Menstrual period is usually just the most common and easiest. Get a basal thermometer. Then chart your body temp from 1 period to the next. Also note the presence and thickness of your vaginal fluid/mucus.
