My husband is wanting to know what are the symptoms of akylosing spondyitis. There are 2 small bumps on the lower back of his head. What could this be?
Often back pain and: Ankylosing spondylitis is a condition affecting the disc spaces in lower back causing slippage/deformity, and thus causing chronic back pain and stiffness. This more often presents in young males before age of 40. Typically symptoms are worse in am and improve somewhat with activities. Fatigue/fever/wt loss may occur during active disease. I'm having UTI symptoms in addition to a cold and today I just found small bumps on my foreskin of my penis and the surrounding of penis head itchy?
Just watch and...:
If having uti, a properly done urinalysis is essential not by symptoms alone. For what you described in the penis, you may have some long-foreskin-related inflammation. For the time being, keep foreskin as clean and dry as possible, but avoid being overdone with much soap or cream.
If in doubt, see and talk with experienced professionals.
Besides, practice healthy lifestyle.

Could only sign of a brain injury in a 2 year old be crankiness? Hit his head on cement 3 days ago. Small bump on forehead gone. No other symptoms & he's getting molars. Didn't lose consciousness or cry. PERRLA.
Sounds normal: I wouldn't use "brain injury" as a descriptor (too loaded with worry)but a kid can be cranky for 1-2 wks after a simple fall. Toddlers can have the equivalent of a migraine come & go in the same time frame with this form of trauma, usually lasting <1hr at a time. If he didn't get knocked out I think the possibility of a significant issue approaches zero. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Hit head above left temple on corner of car door 3 days ago. Small bump barely noticeable bruise&little scratch. Slight headache yesterday&today. Dr??
Ice it!: Accidents happen. The best, easiest & cheapest thing you can do is ice the area as soon as possible. Earlier is better, more often is better than less often. Acetaminophen, if you're otherwise healthy, can be used for pain relief (I tend to avoid ibuprofen). As you didn't lose consciousness or develop neurological symptoms (weakness, numbness) I surmise you will recover. Stay healthy &Good luck. ...Read more
I've been getting these small (the biggest being like half a pea) bumps on my scalp around my right temple and in a group right at the nape of my neck.
Try washing your hair and scalp daily with any shampoo. It may take about three months to see full effect of this regimen.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex. ...Read more
I just noticed a small bump on my head that is beneath the skin, just above my ear and behind my temple. It is painless but tender. What could it be?
I have a sore/tender spot just above the tips of both ears - more in my hair, not towards temples. Feels like a small depression, not bump. What cou?
Scalp: This appears to be an irritability/mild inflammation of the scalp nerves, skin or muscle. Check carefully to see any inflammatory changes in the skin. If none, I suspect some irritability of scalp muscles in view of the tenderness. There is a slight indentation of the skull near those regions. Could there be irritability from eye glasses, headphones, brushing or combing? Any new hair dressing? ...Read more
