Yes it can wait: If it is a thrombosed hemorrhoid that it will be a tender nodule near the outlet of the anus. Soaking in warm water will be helpful. Ibuprofen for the pain. If it is excised within the first 48 hours the healing is a bit faster otherwise figure 10-14 days for resolution.
