How long has it been: there? New or all your life? This can determine a better answer. If it's been there all your life, it could be an amelanotic nevus (mole, no pigment or pigmented). If it's recent, it may be just a bump, molluscum, or wart. Hard to say without a picture actually. It's only a theoretical guess until examined by an eye doctor or your PCP in person. Exam needed: If it weren't for the bump I would diagnose neuralgia which is an irritation/inflammation of a superficial nerve in your forehead which is a nuisance rather than anything serious and usually resolves without any specific treatment. Probably not: You have received a contusion and these take a little time to heal. If the vision is normal and you do not see double, then you just need a little more time for this bump which is probably a bruised healing point to disappear. Steroid cream: try to use 10 % hydrocortisone cream 1-2x/day for a few days , if red, inflamed areas could be infected , will need to wash well daily , apply antibiotic ointment , if gets worse get to a dr . may need oral antibiotics too. can use antihistamine too like zyrtec or benadryl (diphenhydramine) to help with rash . ...Read more
