No treatment: Petechiae are due to bursting of tiny capillaries in the skin and if they occurred on only one area of one cheek, it suggests some low grade trauma(sneezing, pressure). It takes days for the petechiae to resolve and there is no treatment for them. Petechiae?: This sounds like petechiae, which actually is small volume bleeding just under the skin. This should be examined by a provider- petechiae have several causes but can be present with platelet disorders, that can affect blood clotting.
