Poison ivy?: Sounds typical for poison ivy. Topical otc hydrocorticone would be helpful, but be sure to wash any clothes, bedding etc that may have come into contact. Difficult to know for sure without examining the rash and knowing more about your history. Good luck! ...Read more

Hand eczema: The most common causes are irritant (too much hand washing) or contact allergy. Pay attention to the type of soap and hand preparation to see it changing the brand would help (no scented, anti-bacterial soap) or gel). If you wash you hands too often, consider wearing a non-latex glove on some of the chores and apply a lotion after washing whenever possible as well as reducing hand washing ...Read more
